Blowing glass is a truly unique experience. Fire, sweat, the smell of burning cherry wood and paper, and of course liquid hot glass, are all elements you'll encounter in the hot glass studio. Glassblowing is a challenging and highly rewarding craft and we offer a variety of classes that guide you through this fascinating art form. Follow the button to see what we have to offer!

Monster Lab is a new project at the studio! Character design is an important characteristic of Bee Kingdom Glass and we want more people in on the fun. Kids (ages 4-10, give or take) are invited to design characters based on a theme and then submit your character to the studio, via email or snail mail, or any other way you want. Each Monster Lab will have a basic theme. Once the drawing is submitted we will pick one or two or three (still figuring this out!) and we will sculpt it out of glass in the studio. The intent with these pieces is to be put on display in schools, local businesses, a gallery, (open to suggestions on locations), etc.

If you're a teacher and you think this may be a great class project feel free to participate.

Now for the fun part. The first ever call for submissions! We are taking Monster Lab drawings starting now and until our next weekend studio event on May 5 and 6. We will make our first Monster Lab character then. Details on time will come before that weekend.

The theme for this next Monster Lab is DREAMS. Have your child, niece\nephew, some kid you know, draw a monster\creature that relates to dreams. Give it a name and a quick sentence on what it likes to do, or eat, just one fun fact about the creature.
